St. Ambrose Parish is a vibrant faith-filled people, dedicated to worshiping God, to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to enabling members for ministry, and to living together in the context of local community. We strive to reject sin and to live according to the values of the kingdom of God, emphasizing family life. We are sent to bring about the vision among our families and neighbors in our society, as part of the Diocese of San Angelo and the Roman Catholic Church.
Hello Dear Friends,
I am Father Chinna, Pastor at St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Holy Family Mission Mereta. I come from a farming community in the Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh, in the southern part of India. I completed my priestly studies in India and was ordained a priest on January 27, 2002.
In India, there is an amazing cultural diversity throughout the country. Almost every state has it’s own culture and language. Having come from such a different background, I am trying my best to be a TEXAN.
I feel privileged and blessed to be with you. I love being part of the family here at St. Ambrose and Holy Family. I feel very much at home. Thank you for your love.
